Station Work Due by Friday: spelling color code, ReadWorks, BrainPop, Edit/Revise
Comprehension: 
Author’s Purpose and Craft, Exploring Purpose and Meaning (10 days) using the book Schooled Ch. 17-22.   (Comp. TEKS: 5.6B, 5.6C, 5.6F, 5.6G, 5.6I, 5.10A) (Response Skills: 5.7B, 5.7C, 5.7D, 5.7E, 5.7G) (Writing: 5.11A, 5.11B, 5.11D, 5.11Di, 5.11Dxi)

**VIEWING STUDENT WORK/TESTS: 
Last year I tried adding parents to their kids classrooms, but it only showed them the names of assignments and due dates.  This obviously was not beneficial.  99% of our work is done online and it is important for you to see your child’s work.  Follow the steps below to see EVERYTHING we work on at school.
1. Have your child sign into google using their school email and password (lunch number followed by two zeros)
2. Click the waffle and choose Google Classroom
3. Choose 5th ELA
4. You can open and view all of their work, tests, links to assignments, etc.
